Established in 2005, Fylde Fresh and Fabulous has fast become one of the UK’s leading peeled potato and chip suppliers thanks to our expertise in the field.

Even from those very early days, the Fylde Fresh and Fabulous team recognised the lack of consistency in the supply chain for ready meal manufacturers and addressed this issue by establishing a unique growing programme. The result from this growing programme was ultimately a much better quality product for customers and provided a platform on which Fylde Fresh and Fabulous could build significantly for the future.

2005
Fylde Fresh and Fabulous set up as a new company.
Business plan developed and submitted for Process and Marketing Grant.
Grant application successful and potato processing factory commissioned.

2006
We take over production at Williams Foods Bradford.
Fylde Fresh factory complete in April and all production moves to a new factory.
Simon Butcher joins the company as Production Manager.

With potato markets becoming even more volatile FFF develops pricing and hedging tools to take out fluctuation in pricing for customers. 
Simon Leaver appointed as Chief Executive.

Due to high demand for our product a new factory line is built. This greatly increases our production capacity of quality potatoes.

We welcome two new additions to our vehicle fleet. The company is also asked to interview for ITV Granada reports to report on supply chain issues, Brexit and growing conditions.

Purchase of existing Troy Foods site in Leeds –  increasing our capacity and adding a wide range of new vegetable products to our portfolio

We reached our record breaking week in December, producing an amazing 947 tonnes of veggies across our two sites.

In July 2024 we were recognised as the best AD plant in the world below 1mWe. Using our waste peelings from both of our production facilities we operate our anaerobic digestor at 98% efficiency- which generates enough energy to power our Preston manufacturing site and 1000 homes.
