Harvest commenced in the 3rd week of July with the earlier varieties, Premier and Kestrel being first to be lifted.
“We are right in the middle of lifting maincrop Maris Piper, Cabaret, Victoria, Markies and Ramos for storage,” says Fylde Fresh and Fabulous Director, Colin Bradley.
“Crop Quality is very good and it now requires some kind weather to get crops lifted and stored dry”
Visitors are welcome to visit Stanley Villa Farm to see harvesting, storage, and processing, by contacting David Linton on 07917 850378
